Strong Lensing effect: from Cosmology with Multiple images to Artificial Intelligence Modelling

Strong Lensing has been used as powerful probe of the matter distribution in galaxy clusters and of the large-scale geometry of the Universe. Systems with sets of multiple images originating from sources at different redshifts have been used to determine cosmological distance ratios.

In this contribution, we address several aspects in the Strong Lensing program. We present the determination of cosmological parameters from Strong Lensing systems and, in particular, the impact of using photo-z as priors in the lensing modeling. We focus on the system Abell S1063 (also known as RXJ 2248) with a large number of families of multiple images that have been exhaustively analyzed using deep space based images (from HST) and spectroscopic follow-up. We combine our constraints with other recent probes such as CMB and BAO. To perform the modeling we use the lenstool software. We obtain the constraints on cosmological parameters from different sets of multiple images, as identified in the images, taking advantage of recent photo-z catalogs. We also present the our current effort to develop a tool to identity new Strong Lensing systems with recent Deep Learning methods. We further investigate the potential of this Deep Learning methods to make fast modeling.
