Weather in São Paulo

São Paulo is near the tropic of Capricorn, at 800m high and something about 50km west from the sea.

July is the most dry month of the year. With the large number of cars, buses and industries we suffer from the air pollution especially in the winter when we have most of the thermal inversions. As we are close to the ocean extremely dry weather does not usually last long.

Average Temperature

When you come you must be prepared for cold cloudy to warm sunny days, temperature can range from 10ºC (50F) to 29ºC (84F). The average low and high temperatures for july are 14ºC (56F) and 21ºC (70F).

Average Precipitation

You should not expect thunderstorms, but July may have some drizzle. Sometimes, the weather is just cloudy and boring for days with these fine drizzle
