Outreach

Our Institute also provides other services such as assistance to the community and the media on scientific matters, through technical reports or interviews as well as through organized tours to the Institute’s off-campus premises, which include Abrahão de Moraes Observatory, in Valinhos – Sao Paulo, and the Meteorological Station located inside the University’s Science and Technology Park in Sao Paulo, where IAG maintains a permanent exhibition on Geophysics. Lectures, articles and books are also written by the faculty, contributing to the diffusion of scientific and technical knowledge.
