About Research
Revisado em 09/03/2017
The IAG/USP Meteorology Graduate Program develops research in the following areas:
- Dynamics, large and mesoscale diagnostic studies and interaction between scales, including numerical modeling of climate and weather;
- Remote sensing of the atmosphere through meteorological satellites and radars for the study of rainfall and atmospheric radiative;
- Remote sensing applied to bioclimatic monitoring of natural resources and agricultural;
- Atmospheric pollution: atmospheric aerosol physics, source identification and dry and wet ;
- Micrometeorology, planetary boundary layer dynamics, numerical modeling of atmospheric turbulence and applications on dispersion of atmospheric;
- Atmospheric radiation, theoretical calculation and experimental determination of radiation balance components, aerosol and water vapor impact.
