Marin Ward (Durham University) apresenta Seminário do Departamento de Astronomia
Resumo/Abstract:
I will present a new model that fits physically plausible accretion disc components to AGN over the range from 1 micron up to 10 keV. We examine these in terms of fundamental properties such as; black hole mass, Eddington ratio and bolometric luminosity. I will also show some recent results on an example of a dramatic relativistic outflow (PDS456), and finish with some recent results from studies of AGN variability using Pan-STARRS.
