You can apply to the PhD in the Graduate Program in Astronomy anytime during the academic year, according to the rules of Public Notice ATAc-IAG 046/2024.
Currently, there are CAPES PhD scholarships available in the Graduate Program in Astronomy, which will be awarded following the ranking of admitted candidates.
