Exoplanetary Science and Astronomy at UNSW
Chris Tinney
University of New South Wales
UNSW is host to Australia's largest research concentration in Exoplanetary Science (http:www.phys.unsw.edu.au/~cgt) - discovering exoplanets and exploring their properties using radial velocity, transit and direct imaging techniques. UNSW also hosts Australia's leading research group in Antarctic Astronomy, an active star formation research team, and is heavily involved in the new GALAH and FunnelWeb stellar surveys. I'll try to provide an overview of some of our most exciting recent activities.
